Thursday the 10th

Thursday Grandma Rice had the day off so she watched Anthony during the day. Big outing...They went to Bealls for a new outfit. Thanks Grandma

My new camera

I got a new water proof camera so we had to try it out. I can see lots of water videos this summer.

Sunday Anthony's cousin Lauren turned 5. His first attempt at a piniata .

Wednesday we went to check out our first daycare. Skyline Christian ... On skyline blvd. We are happy with the place. Met the teacher. Anthony got to play on the playground and in the room. Still going to look at a couple others just in case.
Saturday Anthony napped like normal but Laura really liked these photos

Saturday was pool time. Lee bought Anthony a blow up jet ski. He is a little unsure since it isn't real stabble. Another few trips to the pool and he will be into it. Later we went to Walmart and Anthony saw the truck. He wanted to sit and stand in it. At this age you don't even have to pay for the ride . A stationary Thing is ok... Until next time in sure. Then to Publix. Now he doesn't want to sit in the seat. He wants to stand in the cart. He thinks it is a game to get him to sit.

Friday nigh Anthony made a trip to grandma and grandpa rice's. G ma thought he needed a different bed. He usually sleeps on the lower part of a trindal bed. About 10 inches off the ground. That was too high for grandma. So she made a blanket bed for him.
Saturday we went to home depot. Needed a new trimmer . After 10 plus years it finally died. Had to test drive the riding mowers. Sunday we went to lunch at taco bell with he dennis's. Not a great photo of anyone but it was the only one I took.

Wednesday we went to Great Grandmas house to install her new cable boxes . Anthony play tug of war with great grandma with the old cable . Missed that photo though.

Mid April weekend

We finally got the new fence up. Now he can't fall in the canal. We spend a lot of time on the dock so now we don't have to chase him away from the sea wall . Saturday Laura and Anthony went swimming next door. Saturday night they went to dinner with grandma rice and great grandma Tennison . Sunday it was Savannah's 1st Bday party. One of her gifts was a swing set. Anthony was ready to swing away. Sunday night it was 2nd cousin Lori's bday party. Busy party weekend. Oh yeah, 2 straight days and no naps. A little fussy by sunday night

Wait... What does his shirt say?

YES, it means what you think it does. Anthony is going to be a big brother. Looks like a December baby. Telling the grandparents can always be interesting. For Anthony we had dinner with all of them and Laura wore a shirt that said Rice Cake in the Oven with arrows pointing to her stomach. This time we made a shirt for Anthony (Thanks Lee for the idea). When we showed up to Golden Corral for Easter lunch, Great Uncle Mike, Great Grandma Rice and 2nd Cousin Jeff saw it right away in the parking lot. Then grandma and Grandpa Rice pulled in the parking lot. Grandpa noticed but didn't say anything. The front of the short says Best Ever, Grandma Rice said yes he is. Laura said now look at the back of the shirt... It clicked mid sentence. She figured it out... Really? she said with excitement in her voice. Now for the Dennis Grandparents. We arrived at the Dennis Easter Egg Hunt and Anthony had his shirt on. No one said anything, so after about 10 minutes Laura asked her mom if she saw his shirt. She said yes and she liked the picture. Laura continued to talk about the shirt and what it says. Then Grandma Dennis got it. She admitted she was a little slow figuring it out. Then everyone else steps up and said they already figured it out.

Easter Weekend

Big weekend. This year Anthony is 1 1/2 so he is into picking up eggs. Doesn't get the Easter Bunny yet but he had fun. Saturday Anthony had his first professional haircut. Went better than expected. He let the lady cut his hair and didn't fuss.

Saturday meant time to practice looking for eggs.

Sunday we went to Golden Corral with some of the Rices. Then to Grandma and Grandpa's for the Hunt. First a gift basket

Anthony gave Vincent or "My Cousin Vinnie" back one of his stuffed animals. Vincent was pretty happy.

Part of the Rice family. Even got everyone to look at the camera. Then a little later in the day we went to the Dennis family Hunt. Anthony got to play with Alana and Brooklyn.

Anthony was the first to climb up in the fort and he spotted the eggs and he was determined to get them.

Anthony's first time on a real swing. I think Laura and I were more scared than he was. Alana 3 and Brooklyn 2 were swinging away. Anthony the youngest by 8 months was a little slower.

Friday night we went to register to win a new house at KIA. Laura and Anthony sat in the HUGE chair. Then we went to chick fil a for dinner. Then discovered they have a playroom . Saturday Anthony came to visit me at the race track and helped me work on my car. Sunday they went to Grandma Dennis's b day party then to a second party for great uncle chad and 2nd cousin Nathan . Busy weekend.

Long weekend which started on Thursday. Laura and I won tickets to see Eric Church so Grandma and Grandpa Rice watched Anthony over night. Grandma Rice was off Friday so she gave Grandma Dennis a break for the day. Saturday we went to the beach with the Burnley's. Savannah and Anthony had a great time getting sandy and wet. My lucky streak continued and I won tickets to see the Twins play their spring training game Saturday. So Laura and I went to that in the afternoon. We weren't that into it so we left to eat dinner with My parents and Great Grandma Rice at Outback. We had 4 Generations there. Should have taken a photo. Nothing big on Sunday. Yard work, Putting up a fence so Anthony can't fall in the canal, A little swimming, and the grocery store.

Saturday night we went to eat with Shane and Savannah at sonny's. After dinner it was play time in the back of the truck. It is like a portable/on wheels pack n play. They love it

At the Cape beach

Friday, Laura's last day of spring break and I was off. So we headed to the Cape Coral beach with Savannah and Candi. Great weather. Had a great time. Got there about 915 so it wasn't crowded at all. This was Anthony's first time at that beach. The water was a little cool but he didn't mind.
