I vote for the 36 hour day. Just think how much more you could get done. Having two kids makes you realize how easy we had it with and only child. The days have definitely busier now.
No such thing as a typical weekday now. Ethan splits the days between GMA and GPA Dennis and GMA Rice.
Today's Schedule:
5am, Laura wakes up to feed Ethan. Leaves the house by 6.
Takes Ethan to the Dennis' and she pumps. She is at school about 7.

My alarm is set for 545. But Laura is up and so is Forrest. Not much sleeping after 5.
I get ready, then get Anthony up. He watches TV and eats a snack before getting dressed. Get him ready and we are hopefully out the door by 645 and off to School. I get to work about 730.

We both get off work about 330. Laura picks up Ethan at her moms. Feeds him then comes home. About 430.
I pick up Anthony and get home close to the same time.
(Today we went to Fort Myers to buy hime new shoes)

I start dinner by 5. Eat between 530 and 6. Maybe some tv after dinner. Bath about 630.
A few minutes of whatever time. Then we read a book about 715.
Ethan is ready to have dinner and bed about 630.
745 and hopefully everyone is in bed. Now, time to make lunch, pay bill, clean up etc. Do our best to watch Big Brother when it is on. Laura is always doing school work so doesn't get to pay much attention. 10p and Laura is off to bed or asleep. I try and go to bed shortly after. Doesn't always work.
Tomorrows afternoon adventure... Anthony and I are off to the farmers market after school.

Ethan is 5 months now. He really enjoys looking at his big brother. Anthony will have a big job being a good roll model for his brother in a couple years.

Hide and seek with Grandma Dennis.

We have been trying to plan a day to shoot photos. Over planning never works out. He was happy and on the floor so I took photos. 5 Months.

Anthony was happy to play beside him.

To the park to use up some energy. Horton park doesn't have swings etc but it is shaded and open. Lots of room to run.

... or walk on the seawall.

Snack time. No those aren't grapes on the table. Just seeds off the tree Anthony was playing with.

Yeah, we thought the same thing.... what if Ethan starts to fall...

Yep, he did. rolled of onto his back. Cried for a minute. Rolled on to the grass so no biggie.

After 12 years, our tile is coming up. Started a couple weeks ago. All in the same room. Luckily that room is slowly becoming the play room. Will be nice when they both get older. Anthony is more than happy to be a boy and tear up the tile. It has been fun pulling them up. Not sure is we will put carpet in, new tile or wood. Not in a rush.
