Uncle Rob's Birthday

Monday we went to GMA and GPA Dennis' for Uncle Robs Birthday.

Anthony played with his cousins. He got to practice having a sibling.. hugging and helping her.

Sunday

Off to the park. At times we were the only ones there. Nice. Even Laura got in the park Spirit and swung on the tire. She is getting old though... doesn't like to spin like Anthony does.

Later it was time to work on the new babies room some more. Packing up all Anthony's old clothes and labeling for later.

Target Trip

Saturday was Target Day. Grocery and other things. We also needed a new lamp to replace the one we took to the consignment shop. He saw the Spiderman action figure and had to have it. We gave in. He loves it. Feel asleep on the drive home. We were sitting on the porch when he woke up. He still had a tight grip on Spiderman.

Black Friday

Great weather so we went to the Park. Grandma Dennis met us there. Then off to the consignment shop to unload some of Anthony's old stuff. Later couch shopping. Anthony liked pointing out all the fake popcorn sitting next to the couches. Somehow he managed to tear one of them off and put in his mouth. He didn't understand it was fake. He didn't swallow it.

Red Lobster for lunch. He liked the lobsters... but not enough to touch them.

Later to gma and gpa Rice's. He loves the machines... and his hoodie jacket

 Anthony decided that since Vanessa was laying on the floor, it was time to play ride Vanessa.

This train and table might be the best toy. We borrowed it over a year ago from the Lyons family. He loves it. Pretty neat to see the progression of the ability to put it together over the year.

Sleep Situation

For a while now Anthony has been waking up in the middle of the night and walking into our room to sleep with us. The first few weeks I would take him back to his room and lay down with him until he fell asleep. Then transitioned/gave in and let him stay in our bed and I went to the couch. (I slept well). Now, all three of us sleep in our bed. Some nights he wakes up at 11. Then next he stays in his bed all night. Many say this lasts about a year. I always thought I would never let that happen. It changed when I just wanted to get back to sleep. It is nice waking up with him though.

Last weekend something new started. When he takes his nap, we shut the door so we don't have to worry about noise since the kitchen is right there. Now when he wakes up, he opens the door… walks out…turns around and shuts it. I was in the kitchen both times and it is pretty cool to watch. More of a little person every day.

It's A BOY

So far, this child has cooperated more than Anthony. Most of the time Anthony was turned the wrong direction for the ultra sounds. We were actually able to get a lot of video this time. I can already see the second child/less picture curse is among us. It will be hard to take as many photos the second time around but we will do our best. Everything was good at the doc appointment. Next ultra sound wont be until the 3rd trimester. Last night we moved Anthony's crib the his brothers room. He has been in the real bed for a while now but we were waiting for the sex of baby two to decide what our plan was.

Kid Party

Sunday we went to a 1st B Day Party for Emelia..Dustin and Stephanie's daughter.
It was at the Alliance for the Arts. Very nice. They had an arts and crafts room set up. Even a little face painting. The rest of the party was outside.

Coconut Festival 2012

Thursday we went to the Coconut Festival. Had a great time. Anthony's first  carnival rides. The first one I thought for sure he wouldn't like since it flung you around a corner. He loved it. Then he got to ride one by him self. He loved them all but didn't understand why he had to wait in line (very short line) We road each one a couple times. 36inches was the min height for most. He just made it.
Got to love the runny nose. That is just the way it is.

The temps are falling. And it feels great outside.

Halloween 2012

We went to a local church for the big night. Anthony and Savannah had a great time. Anthony did decided to take off his jacket for a little while. Tired of wearing it I guess. We did get him to put it back on before it was trunk or treat time. Cousin Vincent was also there dressed as scooby doo.

First up, Lakes Park. We were early so we swung on the swing for a while. I think he would have been happy just staying on the swing the whole time.

Anthony loves to climb. He went all the way... and I am not sure he was going to stop until he fell off the other side before we grabbed him.
All the things to play with and Anthony wanted the milk crate. But it made it easy to get photos.
Bounce House time. Usually he takes off his shoes, looks in and then decides not to go in. This time he was ready. No fear.
The also had a big blow up grave yard kinda thing. He ran around until it wore laura out. Then it was my turn. I guess he could have went by himself after the initial walk around but it was fun to follow him around the maze. Then to the scarecrow contest. Lots to look at and play with.
After nap time, we went to his School festival.
Got there early. It was great. Lots of carnival games. No line for the pony. I put him on it and he was happy. I was surprised. Next up, the BIG slide. It had a long walk up. We figured he might make it to the top then get scared. Nope. He slide down with a big smile.
After that it was time for cake and ice cream for Aunt Pam's birthday.
Long weekend but it was a lot of fun.
